Family Child Care Home Providers (FCCH)

Early Learning Coalition of Duval (ELC of Duval) values Family Child Care Home (FCCH) providers as professionals and partners in delivering quality child care and early learning services to families and children in Duval County. FCCH providers are an integral part of the early learning community.

ELC of Duval supports FCCH providers (with a School Readiness agreement) by offering professional development opportunities in the form of trainings and workshops, educational scholarships based on funding availability and Board priorities, conference attendance scholarships, advocacy trainings and visits at the local and state level.

All FCCH providers in our current School Readiness database are invited to attend our 4 annual Building Blocks workshops. These workshops offer targeted training for FCCH providers and are based on the FL Early Learning Standards and other aspects of programming that benefit the FCCH providers. These workshops are limited to 30 participants each; registration is on a first-come-first served basis.  CEU’s are offered.

Family Child Care Home Providers are served by two local associations, the Family Child Care Association of Jacksonville and the North Florida Association for Early Care. These local associations are members of the Florida Family Child Care Home Association and the National Association for Family Child Care.
