The Florida KidCare Enrollment & Back to School Celebration will be held on Saturday, July 16th from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

6th Annual Regency Church Health Fair will be held on Saturday, July 23rd from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Greetings from ELC of Duval

What is success and how do we measure it? Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines it as a favorable or desired outcome; Albert Einstein defined it as being a person of value; here at ELC of Duval, we define it by the number of families and child care centers we are able to serve with either information or resources.

In this edition, we are going to focus on economic success and how we as an organization can help you reach your next level of achievement as a family or child care provider. For families, we’ll offer money-saving tips, cost-effective learning games and show you how we’ve helped local families receive financial assistance for their child care needs.

For child care providers, your business can not only survive, but also thrive in a time of economic uncertainty. We want to offer you tips on how to create a quality child care center/FCCH that retains families and grows your business.

Additionally, we’ll share some experiences of going to Tallahassee to meet with elected officials to ensure early learning and Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten are priorities in the state’s budget and legislation.

So, get on board as we drive down ELC of Duval’s road to financial success. Our programs have enabled families to work, attend school or receive additional training and many providers have been able to improve their child care centers/FCCHs through hard work and coaching.
