Jacksonville Children's Commission also offers Inclusion and Developmental Screening Services. If you are a Child Care provider, you may also call our Inclusion Warm Line, 904-630-7914, to receive specialized help for the children you serve with Special Needs. Nemours-Bright Start! provides information screening and resources for families of children with dyslexia. They focus their work on pre-kindergarteners to offer preventitive action when it is most effective. Contact Info

Child Guidance Center (CGC) specializes in helping children, adolescents and their families cope with the stresses of life by providing behavioral health solutions. CGC provides assistance for behavioral issues, Attention Deficit Disorder, communications and anxiety issues, among others. Contact Info

Hope Haven Children's Clinic and Family Center serves children, young adults and families with a variety of educational, developmental and mental health needs. These include learning challengese and disabilities, developmental needs, autism, Down's Syndrome and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Contact Info

Child Screening or Evaluation Information with Central Directory/FDLRS operates the area's Child Find program for identifying children with Special Needs as well as offering support and technology services for Special Needs children, their families and educators

Florida Directory of Early Childhood Services is an excellent resource for families with children who have disabilities and/or special health care needs and early care and education providers needing information, consultation services and/or technical assistance in serving all children.

U.S. Department of Justice, Americans with Disabilities Act explains the legal rights of families of children with Special Needs.

Children’s Medical Services, This site lists specialty medical programs for infants to young adults, including Early Steps.

Family Network on Disabilities, FND of Florida, Inc. is a statewide network of families and individuals who may be at-risk, have disabilities, or have special needs and their families, professionals, and concerned citizens.

Family Village, This on-line service integrates information, resources, and communication opportunities on the Internet for persons with cognitive and other disabilities, for their families, and for those that provide services and support.
