Careful preparation is essential to any business venture. Whether you’re an established provider or your early learning facility is in the planning stages, Child Care Resource and Referral can help.
Knowing the average cost of care in your location can help you establish your rates. Where the greatest demand for early learning or child care programs exists, by schedule, age or other services can help you prepare. All these are concerns in planning your business. CCR&R can create specialized reports to determine the demand or need for child care in Duval County. Staff Credential Verification Form (5206)
To better serve individuals in the child care industry the Child Care Program Office redesigned the 5206 to provide more detailed information related to the education of the individual and identify what requirements the credential meets. These requirements include, but are not limited to, minimum Director Credential qualifications and minimum lead VPK teacher qualifications. Individuals can reprint their 5206 by accessing their child care training record through the on-line Child Care Training System by clicking on “View my Transcript” at www.myflorida.com/childcare/training.
Child Care Training System – Training Transcript
Through the collaborative efforts of DOE, AWI-OEL and DCF-Child Care Program Office, the VPK Director Endorsement program is in its final stages of deployment. The Child Care Program office will be processing VPK Director Endorsement applications and reflecting the outcome on the Child Care Training Transcript. Therefore, the Child Care Training Transcript has been enhanced to reflect the issuance of the VPK
Endorsement and is located within the Director Credential section of the transcript. Individuals who have acquired a Florida Director Credential on or before December 31, 2006 will be identified as “VPK Endorsed.” Effective January 1, 2006 individuals who have acquired the Florida Director Credential and completed the VPK Endorsement requirements will be identified and “VPK Endorsed.” For more information related to the VPK Director Endorsement requirements, please visit
https://training01-dcf.myflorida.gov/dcf/cct/dircred.html.
To view your transcript on-line, please visit www.myflorida.com/childcare/training and click on “View my Transcript.” For further information, contact the Child Care Training Information Center at 1-888-352-2842 or the Child Care Credential Unit at 1-866-320-9710.

When Child Care Resource and Referral calls to update your early learning facility or family child care home, we are doing more than just getting your current rates or your hours of operation – we are helping you!
Did you know the data we gather will help your program with funding for your professional development? To determine what providers require, the Early Learning Coalition has to know what is needed. For example, funding to help your staff earn a CDA, or to purchase a particular curriculum comes from provider records we maintain. We rely on you for accurate and current information.
Also, if a parent needs to find you, you’ll want them to have the most current information on your program as well. We assist parents with an unbiased list of providers based on their needs. We refer providers; we do not recommend.
There are no charges/fees associated with a provider listing in the Child Care Resource and Referral Database or for referrals to your program. If you are asked to provide a payment for a referral or listing in the Child Care Resource and Referral database, please call the Agency for Workforce Innovation-Office of Early Learning, Child Care Resource and Referral Network office at 1-866-657-3239.
You can reach CCR&R by phone, at (904) 208-2044 x: 5, by fax: (904) 208-2049 or by clicking on the Contact Us crayon on the main ELC page, and choose Child Care Resource and Referral.
